Ms Aya Kasasa is an International Expert, specialised in Development and Partnerships. She started her career as a Producer at the BBC World Service in London (UK), before acquiring a solid experience in the definition and implementation of developmental strategies by servicing the organs of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States – OACPS (former ACP Group of States) and the European Union (EU). She is currently responsible for the implementation of the ACP-EU Culture Programme, and manages the dossiers related to Migration, Urbanisation and Demography, under the revised Georgetown Agreement and the OACPS-EU Partnership Agreement. She works in the Department of Political Affairs and Human Development of the OACPS Secretariat in Brussels (Belgium).
