Lufuno Lefowa (PhD Candidate) – Holds a BA Dramatic Arts from Wits University, Masters Degree in Communications from Unisa. Lufuno has been in the television industry for the past 12-15 years. She started her career at the SABC as an intern, later became a Commissioning Editor responsible 7deLaan, Muvhango and Uzalo, to name a few. Lufuno is currently a Commissioning Editor at Multi-Choice, managing a portfolio ranging from telenovelas such as Umkhokha, DiepCity and Lingashoni, drama series and movies for Mzansi Magic and Showmax. Lufuno is also the CE working in the Multichoice Talent Factory, an academy that gives new upcoming filmmakers an opportunity to develop and produce Mzansi Original Movies.
