Although having studied animation, Nick has a varied career with experience, skills and qualifications in IT, workflow implementation in software design and manufacture and event production. All of which have given him insight into what a sustainable animation industry requires. Returning to animation in 2010, he’s accumulated an impressive list of credits. In 2015, the pilot of his series, My Child: Teenage Mutant Azanians debuted at the Comedy Central International Comedy Festival and broadcast on Comedy Central- the first-half hour of adult animated comedy to be developed, produced and broadcast for an African audience. He exec-produced Cartoon Network’s Imagination Studios shorts, co-wrote and voice directed the African adaptation of Mike & Rob interstitials, exec-produced a short for Trevor Noah’s There’s a Gupta on my Stoep and is currently producing Cartoon Network’s first African original Garbage Boy & Trash Can.
